How we pick
What we read, what we leave out, and what we will never claim.
Games and themes
A game makes a guide when real hosts and guests describe it working: people laughing, the time it took, the crowd it suited. We read public planning threads on Reddit and similar forums, and we drop games that guests describe as embarrassing for the bride, too long or forced. Every guide links the threads it drew on and paraphrases them in our words.
Gift picks
We research every gift pick from the seller's own page and from what people say about it in public threads. We do not test the picks, and we say that above every group of them. When a pick changes or disappears, the guide changes.
- We pick for the person: what she uses, what you share, what she would never buy herself.
- We list a price tier rather than a dollar price, because prices move.
- We skip anything we could not confirm still exists.
Money
Some product links are affiliate links: the seller may pay us a commission if you buy, at no cost to you. A commission never decides what goes in a guide, and a link is marked sponsored only when a brand has paid for the placement (none have). The full details are in the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Eric Iverson edits every guide. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us and it gets fixed, with the date updated on the guide.
