About Katy & June
Shower games, themes and printables, and gifts for the people you come in pairs with.
What this site is
Katy & June helps the person throwing the party. Most people planning a bridal shower, a baby shower or an engagement party have never done it before, and the search results hand them a wall of photos and a pile of forum threads. We read the threads, sort out what worked for real hosts, and turn it into a plan, a set of games with rules and printables you can run off the night before.
The other half of the site is gifts and time together for pairs: sisters, best friends, mothers and daughters. Every gift pick is researched from seller pages and public threads, and every guide says plainly that we did not test the picks.
There is no Katy, and no June
The name is a brand, chosen because it sounds like two people who would plan a party together. Nobody on this site is pretending to be Katy or June, and no guide is written in a made-up voice.
The editor
Eric Iverson, editor
Eric runs Island Fox, an incubation studio in California that builds and runs software ventures, and edits Katy & June. He reads the planning threads, checks every printable before it goes up and keeps the gift picks honest about what was researched and what was not. He is not a professional event planner, and no guide pretends he is.

How we work
- Every guide links the reader threads it draws on, paraphrased in our words. We never invent a quote or a statistic.
- Etiquette norms are cited to the source that states them.
- Printables are built and checked on a black-and-white home printer setting before they go up.
- Affiliate links never decide a pick. The details are on how we pick and the affiliate disclosure.
